Virga Factory — Acrylic

On most trips my best photographs come from planning and patience. This one didn't. We were on a family campout near Factory Butte, racing sunset down a dirt road with kids in the back when I looked out the window and saw clouds stacking right over the butte—as if it were making them. I jumped out, dust in the air, and worked fast.
